As the principal of Jeffrey Gelgoot Health Care Consulting, I leverage my 20 years of Medical Building Management expertise to best understand the minutiae of healthcare professionals and help their practices thrive.

 

In the late 1980's when the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) initiated Patient Enrollment Models (PEM's), I saw a unique opportunity within the physician populations in the real estate I was managing.  Having built trusting relationships with physicians during their clinic development and lease negotiations, I was able to parlay that trust into the "muddy waters" of Primary Care Reform.

 

In 1996, I converted the first Family Health Group (FHG) from Fee For Service (FFS) to Blended Fee For Service (Capitation). I leverage my thorough understanding of the MOHLTC Schedule of Benefits and deploy its relevance when applicable. I keep medical professionals out of harms way by utilizing the Schedule of Benefits the way it was intended.

 

Medical professionals across the province have leaned on my experience and expertise to optimize their practice, and I have developed trusted relationships with hundreds of medical professionals over the years.
